What is Excellent Procurement Certification?
Excellent Procurement Certification (Excellent Procurement Products Designation System) is a program operated by the Public Procurement Service of Korea. It designates products with outstanding technology and quality so they can be preferentially supplied to the public procurement market. Through this system, small and medium-sized enterprises can expand market opportunities, while public institutions can procure more reliable products.
Purpose of the System

- Improve quality in the public procurement market and promote innovative products
Eligible Products
- Products with delivery records through direct contracts with PPS
- Innovative products holding patents, NET, NEP, EPC, etc.
- Products designated as innovative prototypes by PPS
Certification Requirements
- Technological innovation: proven differentiation through patents or certifications
- Market competitiveness: evaluated through procurement records and market performance
- Public usability and quality: must satisfy quality standards and public-sector applicability
