MRBAS Automatic Control System Introduction
BAS (Building Automation System)
is an automated control system used in a building. It is generally divided into sequence control and feedback control methods. Sequence control refers to a control method in which equipment and processes operate sequentially according to a predetermined time and order, enabling automatic operation.
Feedback control refers to a method of controlling a process by periodically or signal-based checking whether the actual state matches the target value. In our system, both methods are available and are used as follows in the control system covered on this page. Our control method is basically based on feedback control, but depending on the situation, feedforward control (a combination of feedback and sequence control that continuously monitors conditions and predicts results for faster processing) is also applied.
In addition, although not directly related to automation control, this page also provides information on four essential BAS systems. It supports SI facility management that enables integrated monitoring and control of multiple systems from different manufacturers (lighting, power, equipment, fire protection, elevators, access control). FMS (Facility Management System) provides work management, drawing management, material management, building information management, manual management, and vendor management. BEMS analyzes building energy usage and environmental variables together with equipment operation trends to provide optimized operation and additional energy-saving solutions. Lastly, integrated monitoring allows single or split-screen output on a large screen in the control room to monitor the entire building status at a glance, covering the major fields of building automation control systems.
