ON/OFF Lighting Control System
Overview
The ON/OFF RELAY of our ELC system is basically composed of LATCHING TYPE relays,
with four different module configurations: 4-point and 6-point relays, with or without
feedback contacts. Each control module is equipped with a STAND ALONE circuit,
allowing independent operation through the program installed in the control panel,
even when the central monitoring system is unavailable. LED indicators are provided
to check the status of each relay on site, allowing users to easily identify faults and
the current ON/OFF status. In addition, manual operation buttons are provided on
each relay, allowing manual control even if the control board malfunctions.
- Installed as a Lighting Control Panel (LCP) inside or adjacent to the lighting distribution panel
- Lighting loads controlled by Latching Type relays (16A, 20A, 25A)
- Two-state lighting control: On (100%) or Off (0%)
- Lighting loads are divided into zones during design for effective lighting control
- Each relay simultaneously controls lighting loads assigned by circuit or zone (controlled area)
- Each relay maintains its previous operating mode after power is restored following a power outage
- Each lighting control panel can be operated manually even in the event of a system failure
ON/OFF Lighting Control System Configuration
Up to 1,000 relay modules can be connected and used on the SCU network, with addresses
ranging from 000 to 999. However, the recommended number of control modules is 500.
Different models of control modules can also be mixed and connected on the same network.
The appropriate control modules can be selected according to the system design and connected
to the SCU network.
For the communication line, we recommend installing SCUs at appropriate locations whenever
possible to reduce communication traffic. In areas where reliable communication is particularly
important, the use of an optical communication network is also recommended.
