LDM1CH
LED DALI Dimming Module
Overview
LED DALI Dimming Module (LDM) is a dimming module connected to the DALI communication line. This device controls ON/OFF and dimming of LED lighting, and supports up to 64 devices connected to a DALI master through the DALI protocol, enabling more advanced integrated control. The LDM series is classified into several types depending on the output configuration.
Feature
- DALI protocol interface
- Light dimming levels: 254 steps
- 116 scenes and group settings
- DALI standard: IEC 62386
- Communication speed: 1,200 bps
- Data: individual ON/OFF control, individual dimming control, lamp status/alarm signal, ballast status/alarm signal
- Dimming range: 1% ~ 100%
- Dimming time: programmable
- No need for separate shielded communication cable; installation possible with general wiring
- Uses 5C cable (3C-L/N/E, 2C-DALI) without separate communication line installation
- No polarity required for communication line
- Output types: Normal type connects directly to LED fixtures; PWM and 0-10V signal type for SMPS (LED driver)
Operation
Application
- Applicable to various LED fixtures such as panel lights, downlights, and LED bars with DALI control
- Compatible with all DALI controllers (master) using IEC 62386 standard
- LED drivers must be constant voltage type, max 60V/3A and under 180W
- LDM is installed near the driver on the back of the LED fixture using screws or magnets
- Pay attention to polarity when wiring input/output voltage
- LDM-2 supports up to 64 devices per DALI master for individual/group/scene control
- Supports 16 groups
- Supports 16 scenes
- Fade time configurable
- Fade rate configurable
- Min/Max level configurable
- Control via occupancy sensor
- Control via light sensor
