Software and Augmented Reality (AR) APP Programs
Development Background (Smartrol)
Our Smartrol software has been continuously upgraded and developed along with advances in IT technology.
Following the transition from Microsoft's early DOS version to the Windows operating system, MRBAS developed its lighting control software in the early 2000s to provide a convenient and user-friendly solution optimized for Windows OS.
Since then, it has been continuously upgraded and released through multiple versions over the past 26 years.
Recently, Smartrol v.3.1 and the newly developed Smartrol Advanced are being used simultaneously.
Key Functions and Features
- GS Certification and BTL Certification
- Simultaneous control and monitoring from multiple PCs
- Real-time event monitoring and data logging
- Self-diagnostic pop-up functions and various relay status monitoring features
- Sunrise/sunset settings and schedule control
- Download and upload functions
- ON/OFF, DALI, 0-10V Dimming, Wireless Dimming settings and control programs, and current sensing monitoring
- Powerful and user-friendly Drag & Drop graphic editing functions

Development Background (Smartrol Advanced)
Our Smartrol software was originally developed in the early 2000s and has been continuously upgraded, providing excellent performance.
However, it had some limitations when implementing the latest AI and various IoT-based technological solutions.
Therefore, our developers recently completed a new software solution comparable to the latest solutions in the software market and launched it in mid-2026.
With a new design and the ability to implement various advanced solutions, this software is also simply referred to as "S-A."
Here, we introduce Smartrol Advanced.
Key Functions and Features
- Certification from an accredited institution for the life cycle of Latching Relays
- Distributed Stand-Alone control system allowing each lighting control panel to operate even in the event of a system failure, with manual operation also available
- Detailed status monitoring for each relay, including operating time, number of operations, and event status
- Self-diagnostic functions for detecting equipment failures
- Schedule programming based on sunrise and sunset times by region
- Easy and efficient group and scene control using smart touch switches
- Downloading programs from the Main PC and uploading existing programs from the lighting control panel
- Interface and integrated control with other systems, such as access control systems or power demand control programs

Overview (WEBAS-AR v.1.0)
The Augmented Reality (AR)-based mobile control system is a next-generation smart building operation support system that expands the functions of conventional building automation systems by visualizing on-site equipment information in real time and providing an intuitive control environment.
Conventional automation systems primarily rely on fixed monitors, which can make it difficult to intuitively identify the status of on-site equipment.
MRBAS's AR-based system utilizes the camera functions of smartphones and tablets to recognize QR codes or equipment identification information and overlays the equipment's operating status, energy consumption, and settings directly onto the actual equipment through augmented reality.
This provides an efficient, operator-oriented control environment.
Through these features, the system improves the speed, accuracy, and convenience of equipment operation and maintenance, enhances operational efficiency, and maximizes building energy optimization and overall operational performance.
Key Functions and Features
- AR-based recognition of building automation equipment and real-time information visualization
- Real-time data display through QR code and automation equipment scanning
- Intuitive interface based on zone identification and location
- Visualization of interconnected operating statuses between equipment
- Integrated display of operational data including power monitoring, lighting control, equipment control, zero-energy systems, SI, FMS, and BEMS
- Energy analysis and visualization
- Analysis of hourly and cumulative energy consumption and display of energy self-sufficiency rates
- Abnormality detection and alarm functions
- Reduced installation costs by minimizing the need for additional dedicated on-site control devices through QR code utilization
- Reduced administrator response time and improved maintenance efficiency
- Expected optimization and reduction of building energy consumption
