The resort covers an area of 1.488 million $m^2$ (approx. 450,000 pyeong), with the theme park itself occupying about 300,000 pyeong. Located 35km south of Seoul and 7km from the Yeongdong Expressway junction, it originally opened in April 1976 as Yongin Jayeon Nongwon (Yongin Nature Farm), Korea's first family park, before being renamed Everland in March 1996.

Currently, the entire Everland complex is operated by the MR lighting control system, managing approximately 212 lighting control panels across Everland (Theme Park) and Caribbean Bay. Specifically, about 40 panels in the theme park are controlled via Ethernet communication lines, while Caribbean Bay operates roughly 70 panels, and the Global Fair section manages about 40. In addition to lighting, electric heaters, outdoor fountains, and air handling units (AHU) are connected to our lighting control relays and managed through time-based schedules.

Since the entire Everland site—including lighting, HVAC, fountains, and heaters—is integrated into our system, facility management personnel are able to operate the site with great proficiency. We continue to supply our lighting control systems for additional facilities and expansions to this day.
