We have successfully completed the supply and installation of the lighting control system for the stations and tunnels of the Gimpo Goldline, which connects the Gimpo Hanagang Depot to Gimpo International Airport. The line opened in 2019 and currently serves many citizens. Our lighting control panels were delivered across Sections 1 to 5, covering a total distance of 23.67 km.
For the railway tunnels, we had to address environmental challenges such as temperature and humidity, as the lighting control panels are installed in outdoor-exposed conditions. We also overcame technical limitations, specifically exceeding the maximum RS-485 communication distance of 1.2 km. By providing a stable system, MR Bass once again demonstrated its superior technology and quality. Specifically, we ensured communication reliability for long-distance segments by utilizing "REPEATER" equipment.
Given the nature of tunnels, products must be highly resistant to the noise and vibration caused by train operations. Based on our extensive experience across more than 2,500 sites nationwide, MR Bass has earned recognition for its reliability. We provided a dependable lighting control solution by integrating stable communication networks with advanced interface technologies for seamless connectivity between the tunnel sites and the upper Central Units (CU).
