Plug & Play Lighting Control … RLCM (Room Lighting Management System)

Development Background

Our RLCM (Room Lighting Management System), unlike the ELC system, is a PLUG & PLAY lighting control system developed specifically for small- to medium-sized spaces. The system can be operated using only switches and control modules, without the need for a PC or separate software. Since basic control programs are pre-installed, basic lighting control can be performed immediately after installation. As a cost-effective and competitive solution suitable for small areas, the RLCM can be applied to a wide variety of spaces and configurations. It supports ON/OFF, DALI, and 0-10V Dimming control.

Overview

Simple Installation: Switches and control modules are connected using UTP cables or BLE wireless communication.
Automatic Configuration: After installation, the basic control program operates automatically, and additional settings can be configured through simple switch operations.
Automatic Pairing: Configured switch information can be shared with and operated from a smartphone.

Functions

After installation and power-up, each device automatically assigns its address and immediately starts the basic control program.
Basic control functions such as relay control and 0-10V Dimming are operated through the individual buttons on the switch.
Program modifications can be configured by pressing and holding the setting button while the switch and associated control modules are powered on and operating.
Basic switch programs: Individual, Group, and SCENE control
Automatic Pairing Function: Switches and smartphones are automatically paired and information is shared via Bluetooth communication.
Basic Time-Based Schedule Control: Supports up to 8-stage schedule programming, with advance configuration of holidays and national holidays. Additional or modified schedules can be configured through the smartphone app or STS.

Configuration

Communication: No separate main communication device is required. Each device is connected using UTP CAT.6 4-pair cable.
Up to 32 devices can be connected to a single communication line.
Consists of RPWR (AC220/DC24V, 40W), switches, and control modules such as relay modules and dimming modules.
Switches are installed in indoor office areas, while control modules are installed in EPS rooms or junction boxes above ceilings.

System Configuration

The basic RLCM configuration does not require a separate main communication device. Power and communication are supplied through a single standard UTP cable. As a compact lighting control system, the RLCM can connect and operate up to 32 devices.

OFFICE APPLICATION

Control Functions

1. Window-side LED luminaires are controlled by 0-10V Dimming according to the illuminance sensor in the window-side zone.

2. Indoor LED luminaires are equipped with LED Dimming Modules and divided into groups by department for group-based Dimming control.

3. Office lighting Scene control is provided through the Smart Touch Switch (STS), with up to 16 Scenes such as Commute Mode, Lunch Mode,
Day Mode, Night Mode, Winter Mode, and Summer Mode.

4. Time-Based Schedule Control (basic 8-stage time scheduling program included).
